Diamond and gemstone weights and measurements are in some cases approximations and have been totaled using accepted industry measuring standards. Customer is responsible for the return shipping of any approved return. The payment refund for a return will be processed once the item has been received and inspected by Dublin Village Jewelers. Sorry, we are unable to refund any shipping costs. Shipping for returns is expected to be packaged in a way which protects the item(s) from any damage during shipping. Items received damaged will not be refunded.
Rings purchased online include free ring sizing up or down one size, unless otherwise noted in the ring description. If additional sizing past one size is required it can be done at an additional cost. This ring sizing credit must be requested at the time of sale; it can not be used at a later date or for a different item. Please note that once a ring is sized it becomes non-returnable and non-refundable. Some of our bracelets can be custom sized. In most cases this will be an additional cost. Please reach out to us regarding the specific bracelet you would like sized and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request. While many of our items are in stock and ready to ship immediately, some items require additional lead time as they are made to order by our designers. In stock items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of order processing. Items that require order from our designers will be shipped as soon as they are ready. This may take anywhere from 3 days to 6 weeks depending on the piece and designer. We will communicate with you directly to let you know the estimated ship time. If free shipping is selected during checkout then the purchased item(s) will be shipped via ground shipping. Faster shipping rates may be selected at cost.
In staying true to our high standards of customer satisfaction, we offer a one year warranty to protect against manufacturer defects in craftsmanship. The warranty excludes damages caused by, but is not limited to, the following: normal wear and tear, damages incurred due to trauma, negligence, misuse, lack of regular maintenance, loss, or theft. A member of our experienced team will inspect and determine if a manufacturer defect has occurred. We recommend bringing your jewelry in at least twice a year for a complimentary regular cleaning and inspection. Any warranty claims made must be accompanied by the original sales receipt.
All estate and vintage jewelry is sold “as-is” and is not covered under any warranty.
For all pre owned luxury watch sales, returns are permitted within 2 business days of purchase for a full refund. A refund will be applied only after Dublin Village Jewelers is able to verify: that the condition of the watch is the exact same as when purchased (note: this may take up to 7 business days), all originally included accessories are returned in their original condition, original receipt is presented, and there is no evidence of wear, damage, or modification to the watch. Dublin Village Jewelers reserves the right to decline a return or charge a restocking fee if any of these conditions are not met. All luxury watches come with a limited 6-month movement warranty against manufacturer defects. Any required work covered by our warranty will be performed by a watchmaker of our choosing. We do not guarantee water resistance of any pre owned watches, unless noted otherwise. Timekeeping accuracy of pre owned watches are not expected to be perfect; however, they shall keep reasonable time while being regularly worn. This warranty does not cover any damage as a result of, but not limited to: negligence, misuse of the watch, theft, or loss. Deals in which a trade-in are involved are final at the time of sale.
For all new watch sales, a full return will be issued within 7 days of original purchase if the original receipt is included, the watch is in unworn condition, has not been sized, has all original stickers and tags in place, and is returned along with all original packaging and accessories in original condition. A 30% restocking fee will be applied, with no exceptions, if any of these conditions are not met. Dublin Village Jewelers reserves the right to determine the current and original condition of a watch. We also reserve the right to decline a return or increase the restocking fee if the watch has been damaged, worn, or is missing parts/accessories. All new watches will be covered under their respective factory warranty. All Tissot watches will include complimentary watch batteries throughout the duration of their warranty period, and an additional 2 years. Deals in which a trade-in are involved are final at the time of sale.
We completely stand behind our product and will guarantee its authenticity and quality; however, we also understand that there are times when a purchase just isn’t right for you. Therefore, we will refund the full sale price of an item within 7 days of the item’s delivery date or in store purchase, if the following conditions are met. We are also happy to offer a merchandise credit for items returned up to 14 days from the item’s delivery date or in store purchase, if the following conditions are met. Return or exchange conditions: please note that we cannot accept the return or offer an exchange on any item that has been worn, damaged, or altered (including sizing, settings of diamonds and gemstones, and adjustments) and all items must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and any applicable warranty cards, manuals, and packaging. Additionally, we will not be able to issue refunds or accept returns on items that have been lost, stolen, or damaged as a result of misuse or negligence.
All special orders, custom orders, custom made items, and items that have custom modifications or alterations done are not returnable, and no refund or exchange can be made. This also applies to repair work that has been completed. If you decline a repair after previously approving it, you may still be charged for some or all of the work performed. Your items in for repair will be held until this balance is paid. Regarding custom designs, once a client has approved a design they are required to pay in full for the materials and labor performed. There is not an option for a refund or exchange on an approved custom design. If a client requests additional changes after approval, additional fees may be charged. A deposit of $150 is required for CAD work. If the client chooses not to proceed, that $150 may be applied to an in-store purchase within 30 days, otherwise CAD fees are non refundable. Some items, as determined by Dublin Village Jewelers, may be ordered for customer approval with no obligation to purchase; however, the customer will be responsible for any shipping charges incurred. This must be paid at the time of the order.
Items may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 90 days, with a minimum deposit of 20%. If payment has not been received in full by the 90th day then the item will be returned to stock and the total of payments collected thus far are forfeited by customer and kept by Dublin Village Jewelers. Layaway deposits and payments are nonrefundable after 7 days of original layaway down payment, but may be applied toward the purchase of other merchandise within 14 days of original layaway down payment. Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable.
Dublin Village Jewelers cannot be responsible for the loss of the center stone or any primary stone from any item we sell or repair. Please consult your insurance agent for information about how to insure your important pieces of jewelry against such a loss or any other mishap. We will, upon request, be happy to provide you with a complimentary appraisal for any item we sell. Accent stones on new bridal or fine jewelry up to .05 cttw will be replaced at no charge in the event of a loss as a result of manufacturer defects for a period of 1 year from original purchase date.
Dublin Village Jewelers uses special care in the handling and setting of gemstones but cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur in such handling and setting. Further, Dublin Village Jewelers cannot be responsible for damage attributable to unstable enhancement processes, or for pressure or heat-sensitive stones, or stones with fractures, as there is an inherent risk in handling and setting them.
Sale pricing is not applicable to prior purchases, layaways, or special orders. Coupons, gift cards, and gift certificates are not applicable to repair and custom work.
Gemstone purchasers should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted gem and jewelry industry practices. All colored gemstones listed on this sale receipt have been subjected to a stable and possibly undetectable enhancement process to improve color and/or stability. Such enhancements may include, but are not limited to, heat treatment, irradiation, and impregnation. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge. Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade.
We stand by the repair work that we do and guarantee that repairs will be completed as agreed upon with the customer. Any jewelry left with us for repair will be noted on a receipt with a copy given to the customer. This form is an approximation and is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Customer understands and agrees that Dublin Village Jewelers is absolutely NOT responsible for any of the following: further damage to items as a result of cleaning or inspection, damages to items not originally noted on receipt form, damages caused by previous defects in items, incorrect identification of stones or their origins as natural, synthetic, or lab created, incorrect identification of metal composition, and variances in weights, measurements, and grading of items. Any estimates and the scope of work noted on the “take in” are subject to change pending further inspection by one of our staff. Please note that all jewelry left for repair will be cleaned and polished, unless otherwise requested by the customer. When sizing a ring, the required ring size will be measured and approved by the customer at the time of the “take in.” We can not be responsible for fluctuations in customer’s ring size as a result of heat, cold, swelling, etc. Customers are required to pay for and pick up repairs within 90 days of completion. If payment is not received, the customer will forfeit any pieces left with Dublin Village Jewelers and will have no further claim or ownership of said pieces.
All watches are cleaned with the latest ultrasonic cleaning equipment, electronically timed, and adjusted to the capabilities of the watch. Watch overhauls are warranted for 1 year. The warranty does not cover watches which have been abused, tampered with, or show signs of rust resulting from water damage. We are not responsible for worn out or broken parts which were not necessary to replace at the time of the overhaul. There are no warranties on crystals, stems, pushers, crowns, or watchbands. Once a water-resistant watch has been opened to change the battery, it may no longer retain its water resistance. Dublin Village Jewelers does not warranty any water-resistant watch against leakage unless it has undergone a pressure-test after a battery change. There is an additional fee for this service.
Dublin Village Jewelers will clean your jewelry and check the prongs free of charge. We recommend this be done at least twice per year. Please understand that there is risk of stones coming loose during the cleaning process. We reserve the right to decline a cleaning if we determine damage may be caused in the process.
